Ever since childhood, the act of spearheading change & innovation thrilled me. The thrill fed on me, and I am on it!

About me

I’m Arham Partap Jain, a technology-driven serial entrepreneur and an angel investor.

As a former believer in “destiny” during my teens and that there are multiple paths to reach the same, some beautiful journeys experienced along the way have fostered in me the idea of embracing the journey and becoming a lifelong learner than caring about the destination itself.

The varied experiences accumulated across mechanical engineering, entrepreneurship, global fellowships, and investment banking shaped me and equipped me to start my venture, Trucknetic, a tech-first logistics startup disrupting the digital freight industry.

My Journey

Making everyday count

Ernst & Young

My 2-year stint at the firm provided me with great exposure and a steep learning curve one could ask for at the beginning of their career. As a Mergers & Acquisitions advisor, I dealt with private equity, fundraising, and closed deals worth thousands of crores.

I formed profound relationships with CXOs from the automotive and diversified industrial products industry and made some amazing friends for life during my tenure, who still come in handy during trying times.

Arham Energy

I rebuilt our energy company from scratch to a 100cr revenue-generating business in 3 years by making pivotal decisions on our distribution network and product offering.

We are now looking to forge into the services side of renewable energy (solar and wind), lithium-ion, and graphene batteries for a cleaner and greener India

Stanford University

My time at the university has been key in shaping me into the entrepreneur I am today. I was one of the few candidates from Asia to be selected for their prestigious- Entrepreneurship, Leading Change Through Innovation fellowship at the Palo Alto campus.

I turn to Stanford every time I am looking to upgrade my skills in life. Thus, I recently completed a course in Design Thinking: From Insights to Viability from their Graduate School Of Business.

CII and JITO

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) are industry bodies that aim to create and sustain an environment conducive to development by partnering with Industry, Government, and Civil Society through advisory and consultative processes.

Being a member of these provides the much-needed network and support of fellow business people to grow together. I am currently an executive member at CII-Young India and lead the investment vertical at Young India-Special Interest Groups (SIG).

Social Initiatives

A touch of hope

“Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime”- Albert Einstein

I realized pretty soon that just providing momentary freebies to the marginalized and needy would not help them come out of the situation. Instead, it would be valuable to empower them and provide them the necessary leverage to have a long-term impact on their lives. This realization was the beginning of my social impact journey.

Enactus

That stands for Entrepreneur, Action, and Us is an internationally recognized community where students, academics, and business leaders work together for the betterment of underprivileged people using entrepreneurial actions to transform their lives.

Project Naya Ujala

Families living in slums and construction sites do not have access to proper indoor lighting, because of which, the education of their children suffers.

Adamant to solve this, we took inspiration from an MIT experiment and collected transparent bottles of cold drinks, filled them up with water and some chlorine tablets, and then installed them on top of their tin houses.

The repurposed bottles now acted as a readily available light source due to the phenomena of Total Internal Reflection. The project impacted about 10,000 families across India ensuring a bright future for them. It also garnered praise from Unilever in North America who went ahead and made a documentary on the project.

Project Dropbox

After getting a go-ahead to start the NCU chapter of Enactus from the Enactus headquarters in Washington, one of the first projects that my team undertook was Project Dropbox.

We collected old newspapers and used notebooks from nearby schools and corporates. We then recycled them into covers, notebooks, and other articles with the help of the Chinmaya mission organization and sold them back to book stores.

Apeejay Micro Financial Services

The zeal to uplift the backward led me to start my own NGO. The 40-member organization worked towards the financial inclusion and financial literacy of the backward and marginalized segment of the society by conducting surveys and financial awareness campaigns.

It was important to include them in the mainstream to enable them to avail themselves benefits of various public schemes run by the government.

What The Truck

Truckers have been the unsung heroes during Covid but, sadly, no government policy supported their well-being during the dreaded period. We at Trucknetic have been at the forefront of addressing their woes and providing them with the necessary help through our campaigns such as ‘Food for Truckers’ and ‘The Health Campaign’.

We are also conducting regular campaigns to create awareness among the stakeholders and the government about the struggles and challenges faced by them on a day-to-day basis. We are on a mission to change their lives so that no trucker has to ever tell their child to not consider trucking as a viable career option.

Watch. Listen. Learn. Grow.

With Trucknetic, Arham is building India’s first online technology company, which solves the need for laborious phone calls and emails encountered by shippers and carriers daily.
